This market will resolve according to the winner of the 2026 Ballon d’Or.

If no 2026 Ballon d’Or winner is declared by December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "Other".

The primary resolution source for this market is official information from France Football (https://www.francefootball.fr/).

Projected payout: 1 minute after closing

This market will close and expire after a winner is declared. Otherwise, it closes by Oct 31, 2026, 12:00 AM.

In this event, at most one market can resolve to "Yes". When buying or selling "No" across multiple markets, you may receive some funds back or be required to pay funds. This is called "collateral return".

Hahaha, you can really tell this was made by Americans who know nothing about football. Kane didn't even make FIFA's Team of the Tournament; he isn't even among the top 3 scorers of the World Cup—he's not even the #1 scorer for his own country. The "Messi and Ronaldo won Ballon d'Ors without trophies" argument is overstated. Messi always had at least one significant team trophy (Liga, Copa del Rey, Copa América or World Cup) when he won. Cristiano 2013 is the real exception: no major club trophy, but arguably the greatest individual year of his career (69 goals) plus the iconic World Cup playoff against Sweden. That's remembered precisely because it's an exception, not the rule. Using one exceptional case to argue that trophies don't matter is weak. Historically, Ballon d'Or winners almost always combine elite individual performances and major team success.
